Prediction and Numerical Modelling

In many instances noise and vibration levels can be predicted from a detailed knowledge of the performance of the equipment and constructions. This can be a great time and cost saver. Various configurations can be tried at the design stage which allows optimisation before construction begins and while time is relatively cheap. This gives confidence in the performance, but also allows the effects of future changes to be determined, problems identified and solved at minimum cost. We have a range of software for noise prediction, much of it developed by ourselves. Most importantly we have 35 years of performance data to see that our predictions are based on real information.
