Formed in 1967, SRL is one of the leading and most experienced acoustic consultancies in the UK. We design, consult and test in all areas of noise and vibration. We have a reputation for our practical approach to problems and cost conscious solutions. Our staff of 35 acoustic consultants at offices around the UK and the Middle East, allows us to tackle the largest projects without delay. Measurement and analysis equipment, noise prediction and performance programs and a noise performance database are all tools used by our acoustic consultants. Our acoustic and airflow laboratory provides data on the performance of products and materials and gives acoustic engineering advice to our clients. The laboratory works within the UKAS quality system and has a DTI approval for tests to European and International standards. We are also accredited as a Notified Body by the UK Government which enables us to help manufacturers world-wide who wish to sell their equipment in the European Union. SRL also publishes books and literature on practical aspects of noise and vibration control and acoustic engineering.
