Air Leakage Testing
SRL also provides an Air Leakage Testing service.
From the 1st April 2006, Part L of the building regulations requires mandatory air permeability test of new buildings as follows:-
All non - dwellings with a gross floor area of at least 500 m/Sq
A representative sample of all dwellings.
Air leakage occurs through gaps, holes and even certain (porous) materials, even though such openings may not be visible to the naked eye and has an adverse affect on the buildings performance in terms of conserving fuel and power.
